ALEXA COWLEY
OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
With over two decades of experience shaping distinctive, livable spaces, Alexa has become a leading voice in Colorado’s residential design community. As the founder and principal designer of Alexa Interiors and owner of Mountain Home—Evergreen’s go-to furniture and home décor destination—she brings a rare blend of creativity, strategic insight, and deep client connection to every project.

Originally from Canada, Alexa moved to Evergreen in 2000, raising her two children against the backdrop of Colorado’s golden light and mountain landscapes. That same love for natural beauty is reflected in her layered, textural, and organic design style, which transforms houses into deeply personal homes.

Known for her intuitive approach and sharp design instincts, Alexa seamlessly blends timeless style with modern functionality. Her expertise in design psychology allows her to create spaces that not only look beautiful but also support her clients’ emotional well-being and way of life.

Through Alexa Interiors, she leads a trusted full-service team known for thoughtful collaboration and lasting design. At Mountain Home, her curated collection brings her design philosophy to life through furnishings and décor that embody comfort, style, and authenticity.
Outside of work, Alexa finds inspiration in nature—especially by the ocean—and loves traveling, cycling, and sharing laughs and adventures with her grown children and close friends.

KATIE BEACH
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Katie is a transplant from the Midwest who fell in love with her semi-annual family vacations to Colorado - so she moved here in 1998 and has never looked back! Katie is a mom to three girls, two black labs and is married to the only guy who was crazy enough to agree with her adventure-filled life! Katie worked in the CO music business for many years until she was able to follow her dream of Interior Design and joined the AI team in 2016. Katie loves being behind the scenes and chasing the design details needed to make the AI designs come to life!
KIM MCINTOSH
SENIOR DESIGNER
Born and raised in the Midwest, Kim is a mom to three kids, married to a fellow Midwesterner and now happily lives in Evergreen! Kim has worked for over 20 years in commercial and residential design and is a huge fan of good space plans, a mix of natural materials, and ZERO clutter! Some of Kim's favorite things include: repurposing a good thrift-store find, organizing everything from drawers to pantries, and the art of gift wrapping and letter writing. Kim is always looking for a new favorite paint color and can't help walking into a space, seeing the potential, and eyeing where to put a throw pillow - and a succulent.

KATE BENNETT
SENIOR DESIGNER
Kate moved to Evergreen from Missoula, Montana a few years ago - where she co-owned a custom furniture company and worked as an interior designer for the last 15 years. Kate loves the chance to curate a space using surprising textures, objects, and collections that have a story to tell. She loves adding a little something vintage to any sleek and modern design - or mixing something unexpectedly modern into mountain decor. Her side projects have included artistic window displays, made-to-order antler wreaths, and plenty of sewing projects when the fabric is inspiring! When she’s not busy designing, Kate focuses on her two nearly-grown kids, music, and lots of time spent outdoors.
JULES WICK
SENIOR DESIGNER
Jules is our newest Senior Designer at Alexa Interiors, known for creating spaces that are as personal and livable as they are beautiful. Before settling in Evergreen, she ran a design-build firm in Dallas, honing her skills in floor plan transformations, material selection, and blending styles. With a background in Economics, she brings a strategic, organized approach to every project—ensuring a smooth process from concept to completion. A proud career moment includes having her work featured on the Las Colinas Home Tour. Jules thrives on collaboration and believes the best designs are built on trust and connection. Outside the studio, she enjoys time with her three daughters, puzzles, volleyball, and the little moments that bring joy.

JULIA MCCOY
TECHNICAL DRAFTER
As a child, Julia would use shoe boxes to create 3D models of houses. This love of space planning led to a BA degree in Interior Design from Purdue University, 20 subsequent years working in commercial interiors, and NCIDQ and LEED AP certifications. After graduation, Julia moved to Denver and eventually put down roots in Ken Caryl, where she now raises her three daughters with her husband. When she isn’t sitting at her computer or doing all of the mom things, Julia spends her free time playing tennis, road and mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and hitting the live music scene. Using her computer drafting skills and attention to detail, Julia enjoys helping the team take a design concept from a client’s inspirations to installations.
JULIE WOLFE
TECHNICAL DRAFTER
Originally from the Midwest, Julie moved to Colorado 22 years ago and currently resides in Breckenridge. She attended Michigan State University where she received a BA in Interior Design. With more than 20 years of extensive experience in commercial design, Julie is excited to pivot into the residential design world! Her meticulous methods enable her to stay organized and structured throughout each project. She enjoys space planning and uses computer-aided drawing software to help the design team carry their visions into reality. In her free time, Julie loves to ski, hike, mountain bike, and spend time with her daughter, dog, family and friends.
